Alexandra Zafiriou
Alexandra is a leading cultural brand expert, specialising in bridging culture with businesses and advising the creative industries on brand strategy, placemaking, strategic communications, corporate affairs, corporate social responsibility strategy, philanthropy and sponsorships. Alexandra has delivered projects for the Tate, V&A Museum, Design Basel/Miami, Venice Biennale, Art Athina, Art Dubai, PAD Fairs, China Now Festival, University of Arts London, Chanel, Prada, UBS and HSBC. Foundation clients include Macquarie Group Foundation, UN Foundation, Naomi Milgrom Foundation, Louise Blouin Foundation, and Fondazione Prada.
Alexandra was formerly a director at Brunswick Arts, part of Brunswick Group (London), an advisory firm dedicated to promoting and managing the reputation and interest of arts, cultural and charitable organisations worldwide. She was development director at Louise Blouin Foundation (London) and vice-president of communications at Louise Blouin Media (New York). She was a director at Edelman (Melbourne)—a leading global communications firm recognised for transforming business culture and sparking movements. Alexandra is currently head of brand for the not-for-profit peak national body on design, the Design Institute of Australia and responsible for the organisation’s brand repositioning.
