Renzo Piano Building Workshop
“Architecture is the art of making shelters – not just for individuals, but for communities, for society, for all. It is more than construction, it is the shaping of spaces where people live, gather and belong.”
The Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) was established by Renzo Piano 1981 with offices in Genoa, Italy and Paris, France. It is led by nine partners, including Pritzker Prize Laureate, architect Renzo Piano. The practice permanently employs about 100 architects and 30 support staff including 3D visualization artists, BIM managers, model makers, archivists, and administrative and secretarial staff. The studio has extensive experience working in multi-disciplinary teams on building projects in France, Italy and abroad. RPBW is involved in projects from start to finish and typically provide full architectural design and consultancy services through the construction phase. Beyond architectural services, services also include interior design, master planning, landscape design and exhibition design services. A recent highlight is RPBW’s masterplan and flagship building at Paddington Square, London.
