Valéria Fazekas

Valéria Fazekas is a Hungarian artist and artisan-maker. Following her studies at the Hungarian Academy of Crafts and Design (graduated in 1987), her early works focused on wearable objects and leather goods, before turning the medium of headwear in to her speciality. Her diverse use of materials, textures and colours is matched by her signature style of multi-dimensional perspectives. While she exhibits locally and internationally as a reputable maker-designer, her collaboration with Diango Hernández was her first presentation as a visual artist. www.valeriafazekas.com
