Alexandra Blac

Alexandra Blac is a Melbourne-based conceptual designer. She produces wearable objects under the label ‘Alexandra Blac Studio’ with return clients including Lauren Hill, Cyndi Lauper and drag queen extraordinaire, Truxie. Her signature pieces begin as blocks of Lucite, which she shapes by hand to the desired form. The final acrylic works take on the polished appearance of well-cut precious stones and reflect their surroundings with striking clarity. Gamut: Alexandra Blac x MARCUS PIPER at Useful Objects is Alexandra’s first exhibition of non-wearable, larger-scale objects and sculptures.
