The Architecture Foundation, 2005 – 2007

Curator of Events, London

Jade Niklai worked as Curator of Events at The Architecture Foundation in London from 2005 to 2007. With a mission to promote contemporary architecture in London’s vibrant cultural landscape, the job included the curation of exemplar local and international architectural events, and developed long-term relationships with industry-leaders and emerging talent. Averaging 2.5 public events each week, Jade delivered over 200 public events, many in partnership with leading cultural organisations, and alongside countless private engagements for project partners, sponsors, trustees, patrons and members. Working as a key member of a small and dynamic team, Jade also devised and delivered press and marketing strategies, supported management, board and fundraising teams, and contributed to the daily life of the Yard Gallery. During this period, The Architecture Foundation was led by Rowan Moore, director and Nathalie Weadick, deputy director.
